Being a Relate counsellor is an incredibly interesting & rewarding job where you have the chance to make a real difference to the lives of many people. Relate has around 2,000 counsellors, all of whom receive regular supervision & support throughout their training & practice.

Relate offers excellent opportunities for personal growth & development & the option to proceed to further training in order to specialise in a particular area of counselling such as Sex Therapy, Young Peoples Counselling, Family Counselling or Training & Development work.

You can work for Relate in a way that suits you! Depending on which area you work in, how much time you can offer & your qualifications, you can be employed or self-employed or you can work as a volunteer. Due to the hours we are open, flexible working enables you to fit Relate work around other commitments.

Our courses are designed for mature students; applicants will normally be over 25. It is also advisable to have adequate word processing & IT skills before beginning training.

• Graduate Certificate
• Postgraduate Diploma in Couple Therapy
• Master's Degree
